dfu mode how to put your ipod/iphone in dfu/recovery mode
hey guys its patrick again! first might wanna check out my friend who is responsible for my intro www.youtube.com now ima show you how to put your device in dfu mode aka: recovery mode. step by step: first of all you dont have to cout, some times it goes more then the count, some people gave you like this, 1. hold the home button then the power button ( hold them together at the same time ) 2. now wait for the chime ( the sound chime you hear when you plug and unplug u ipod) 3. when you hear that (the chime) let go of the power button. 4. KEEP HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON 5. wait for the chime again. when you do let go of the home button 6. ur ipod should be non responsive and will not be recognized by ur pc, dont worry its suposed to be like that, you are redy to go!

thank you my friend. im not jailbreaking mine was just messed up.
wat up i up graded to 3.1.3 and i was mad as hell cuz i have an 2g ipod touch and loss my jailbreak but then i down grade 3.1.2 and i have a MC model and then recover my to 3.1.2 and jail break again with black rain but u have to back up all yo shit idk if this well work other devices

When i opened the red snow, its says Please select the corresponding IPSW for your CURRENT firmware. My bad!
I’m using a Win7. I downloaded the firmware and the red snow and it’s not working. When i opened the firmware, its says Please select the corresponding IPSW for your CURRENT firmware. i browse then what??? btw this is for 1st Gen Ipod touch 1.1.5(4B1)
my ipod will not go into dfu mode..do you think its blocked??..its a 2 g touch
